Pretty in Pink

To celebrate Valentine's Day I set up a tableau on the kitchen island that's pretty in pink!

 And decidedly girlish!

I used several of the items my daughter and I had used for her Valentine tea parties when she was a child. They featured hearts, flowers, teddy bears and lots of pink! And red of course!

The bears and hearts are arranged on the cake pedestals I bought when we renovated the kitchen. I've really enjoyed using them for displays throughout the year as well as for cakes and other desserts.

Cutwork napkins and vintage sherbet glasses will be used for our favorite ice cream, Graeter's chocolate chip. You may remember the matching wine goblets from here and here.

Perhaps you'd like some pink indulgence!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
