Smaller-Scale Table Settings for Memorial Day

As another holiday approaches, many of us are going to defer the large get-togethers that may have normally defined Memorial Day. I'd like to share with you several patriotic themed table settings that focus on smaller-scale ideas for four. Each of these can be easily adapted to take advantage of the things you may already have around your house, or the readily available (and inexpensive) decor found on your trips to the local grocery or on-line.

Smaller-scaled tablescapes can be just as festive! And the red, white and blue can be used all summer long. Click on the titles to see the full posts and all the details!

A Relaxed Memorial Day

A Casual Fourth

A Patriotic Table

I hope you have an enjoyable holiday! This year let's remember the front-line responders and the sacrifices they have made as well as those who are traditionally honored on Memorial Day.

  1. Very pretty and patriotic. All of the summer festivals in my town have been cancelled and it’s heartbreaking because we celebrate the Fourth for half of the summer around here. We will have to have smaller celebrations at home but it won’t be the same.

    1. Thank you. Although it won't be the same, with a bit of ingenuity we can still have a celebration.

  3. It is hard to get excited over a holiday right now, as we will not be doing any of the usual things. Your tables are really festive, I hope you have a safe weekend.

    1. Thanks, Allyson. I liked the garland so much but didn't really know how to use it. When I didn't have any napkin rings to use, I had one of those ah-ha! moments.
