Spring Dreamin'

"All the leaves are brown

And the sky is gray

I've been for a walk

On a winter's day

I'd be safe and warm"

If I was in Georgia

Oh...spring dreamin'

On such a winter's day*

Tulips are coming up in the pots on the patio.

Meanwhile, inside the Christmas cactus is still going strong.

I imagine, like me, you're dreaming of spring. It won't be long now!

I hope you've enjoyed this stroll through my garden.

    1. That song is catchy, though a bit melancholy. Evidently the songwriter didn't have daffodils! Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Oh yes, Spring is coming. Here in Florida the days have already been too warm. I am enjoying some brisk weather up in New York and Ohio for a couple of weeks. Hang on, it is coming!

    1. Springs are beautiful in Georgia, but they don't have the same impact as those I enjoyed in Ohio after long cold winters! After so many years I still miss snow and cold weather.

    1. Thanks, Kippi! I was lucky to capture the crocus. That evening seven or eight more had bloomed, but it was drizzling so I stayed inside. Bad decision -- that night they were eaten by deer!

  6. Sandra, I am dreaming of spring also! Your photos are just beautiful. We are expecting temps in the low 20’s next week, so I fear that our budding trees will be impacted!. Have a lovely weekend!

    1. Thanks, Pam! I'm so pleased with the way the daffodils have taken off this year. While it may have been a rough winter for us, they evidently got one quite to their liking -- I have so many more blooms this year!

  7. Beautiful shots. Just what we need on the day it is only 8 degrees! If I see the stupid groundhog today, I'm going to smack him. LOL

    1. I know what you mean! We've got temps in the twenties today but are basking in fabulous sunshine. If that's winter I'll take it over forties and rain any day! Thanks for visiting and leaving your comments, Christine.
