Pretty Table Settings for Savoring Tea

Rain-soaked days are perfect for taking some time for myself and relaxing with a cup — or two! — of tea. Rather than just pour some into a mug and flop on a couch, I like to set a delightful tea on a pretty table. Alone with my thoughts, perhaps some soft music . . .

On a stormy day I laid beautiful dishware that brings the warm days of summer to mind on an antique Irish linen cloth, embroidered and crocheted by hand in the early 1900's, for Tea and Chocolate on a Winter's Day.

 

  

  

A cozy tea was set with a plaid throw, chickadee plates and a vintage "TV lamp" in Tea and Cinnamon Toast.

 

  

In Tea with Birdsong, the whimsical tea set is a dreamy shade of light blue, with charming songbirds among the cherry tree branches.
